I have taught grades K, 1 and 5 and American History in grades 6 and 8. I chose to stay home when I had my two daughters but found myself leading Community Education classes of parents of 0-5 year olds.
I attended high school in Maryland and earned my BA in History from St. Olaf College. I then attended the University of St. Thomas for my teaching license and Masters degree in Education.
I believe that true learning happens once my students feel genuinely cared for and loved. Once that relationship is in place we are then able to move forward with our curriculum.
I love working at Sacred Heart because of the community, the trust from the principal and the other lovely staff members.
