Sacred Heart Education Endowment Fund

WHY THE FUND? 

The Sacred Heart Education Endowment Fund was established in 1987 by the Sacred Heart School Board of Education to guarantee a quality Catholic education now and in the future. It was intended that the fund would grow and provide a solid economic base for the parish budget which supports an excellent elementary school, a vibrant religious education program, and ongoing faith formation for adults. 

HOW DOES THE FUND WORK? 
Contributions are carefully invested. Three to five percent of the earnings are give to Sacred Heart Parish annually to assist with budgetary needs. Because only a portion is spent each year, gifts to the endowment are perpetual and will keep giving year after year. 

HOW ARE THE FUNDS USED? 
All educational programs at Sacred Heart benefit: Children's House Montessori, Sacred Heart School, Youth Faith Formation and Adult Faith Formation. 

HOW DOES THE FUND GROW? 
The fund grows through generous contributions from bequests, real estate, cash donations, memorials, beneficiary of insurance policies, investments and inheritances. Some families name the endowment fund for memorials to their loved one. 

Some companies match employee gifts to charitable organizations. Check with your employer to see if they offer this program.
